Hello, readers! My name is Seth Bailey. I started out as an intern working for the Massillon Athletic Department for the Fall 2024 athletic season. I took this internship through Kent State University, where I am currently working to earn my BA in Communication Studies. This was an excellent opportunity for me, as I am a lifelong Tigers fan and intend to go into the field of journalism as a career. I am now continuing this site as a freelance journalist, covering the finest gridironers and the best high school football city in America.
This site will cover the various Tigers varsity sporting and community events that are taking place throughout the Massillon City Schools and beyond. These include football (varsity, junior varsity, and freshman), boys and girls golf, boys and girls soccer, boys/ girls cross country, boys and girls tennis, girls volleyball, softball, baseball, boys and girls basketball, track and field, and more.
Other subjects that will appear are local interest stories, interviews, player spotlights, alumni spotlights, and more.
