Massillon Flag Football QB Shines in Inaugural Season
Tigers’ flag quarterback Izzi McVay went 34-50 passing this past week versus McKinley and Akron Early College. She tossed 8 touchdown passes and completed 6 point-after attempts. The week prior she went 12-22 with 3 touchdowns and 2 PATs. As the Tigers race toward the playoffs, Izzi’s passing abilities will become crucial amidst the hunt for the state title. Massillon will take on Nordonia, Edgewood, and Glenville next week in the varsity season finale.
