
Lady Tigers Excel on the Court and in the Classroom
The Lady Tigers had an excellent regular season both on and off the court. They went 12-2 on the road and 7-1 at home, averaging a score of 66-42 (1457 points scored, 917 allowed). They also averaged 18 steals per game and forced 574 turnovers on the season.
The floor was not the only place that the ladies excelled— the team had a GPA of 3.748. According to Coach Joe Pierce, 13 of the Lady Tigers made the honor roll (Bri Abercrombie, Hannah Nicola, La Nia Moore, Mira Rastetter, Jayla Ehmer, Nevaeh Drennen, Layla Gantz, Rylee Adams, Jaryn Wolff, Delaney Pierce, Kynslie Williams, Janya Jones, and Alyssa Jekubik). Six of those players (Moore, Rastetter, Gantz, Adams, Jones, and Jekubik) had GPAs of 4.000 or higher— Alyssa Jekubik had a GPA of 4.375.
