Aidan Longwell Promoted
Massillon quarterback and current Rockies farm player Aidan Longwell earned a promotion after an excellent spring training with the Colorado Rockies and their AAA affiliate. Longwell’s promotion lands him with the high-A Spokane Indians in Washington. New Massillon Youth Football Program Keeps the Pipeline Open
Since the days that Paul Brown roamed the sidelines for Massillon, the Tigers have considered the youth football programs run in Massillon as vital to the future. Brown believed that instilling the Massillon culture and the football mind into the youth of Massillon was key to the development of a continually successful football program. Throughout the years since many programs have stepped up to mentor the next generation of Tigers. The need arose again this year, and again Massillonians have stepped up to keep the programs alive. The new Massillon youth program– Massillon Youth Football Family– will be ready to take on the mantle this season. The league will operate with both flag football (grades 1-6) and tackle football (grades 5-6).
