Massillon Shot Putter Advances to Regionals
Tiger shot put star Isabella Haines advanced out of Wednesday’s district meet in North Canton. She is the first regional qualifier for the Tigers this week– more are likely to come with events continuing this weekend. Tonight’s qualifiers will be posted tomorrow.
Tiger Basketball Star Inducted into Local HOF
Massillon alum and late 70s Tiger basketball star David McBride was inducted into the Stark County Amateur Basketball Association Hall of Fame. He played for the Tigers from 1977-79.
Aidan Longwell Hits Another Home Run for Spokane
Aidan Longwell continues to smoke the ball with the Rockies’ High-A team in Spokane. Longwell now leads the Indians with 7 home runs this season. He has now driven in 32 runs and is batting .268 in 42 games.
