Tigers have a State Titleist after OATCCC Indoor Meet
Massillon sent multiple athletes to the Ohio Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches Indoor track state meet. The results are below.
Alayna Mendenhall took the state title for girl’s seated shot put with a high mark of 9-10.25.
Bella Haines places 6th in girl’s weighted throw. She broke the school record with throw of 40’ 11 1/2.
Lennox Lemon placed 5th in boy’s long jump with a mark of 21-0.
Chayce White placed 12th in boy’s long jump with a mark of 19-10.50.
Lo’Quan Young placed 5th in the boy’s high jump.
Ja’Meir Gamble places 12th in the 60m dash.
Deontay Malone placed 16th in the 60m dash.
Tiger Wrestlers Fall in Championship Second Round
Chris Fair fell to Mount Vernon’s Taylor 8-7 in the Championship Quarterfinals. He will now face Brecksville’s E.J. German in the consolation bracket in the race for 3rd.
Frankie Salvino fell to Brecksville’s Rios 7-1 in the consolation bracket.
