Tiger Cheer Takes Home Title
The Massillon Cheer squad won a Best in State award while competing for an OHSCCA state title on Sunday. The competition took place in Hilliard Darby High School– the ladies took home the title in the building category.

Two Massillon basketball players have been nominated by the Canton Repository as Stark County Player of the Year finalists. Chris Knight, who recently broke the 1,000 point mark for his career, is a finalist for boys’ county POY.
Delaney Pierce of the Lady Tigers has been nominated as a girls’ basketball player of the year finalist. She averaged over 17 points and 11 rebounds this season.

Lady Tigers Rebound from Loss to St. V’s with Win Over Westlake
The Lady Tigers traveled up to Westlake tonight and came back with a win. The Tigers climbed out to an 18-5 lead after the first quarter and increased their lead to 23 at the half. They continued to roll in the second half, and the final score was Massillon 69 – Westlake 37.
