Track Regional Qualifiers
A few Tigers placed highly in the OHSAA track districts in North Canton. They will advance to the Austintown regionals on Wednesday. Below are the qualifiers.
GIRLS:
Shot Put– Isabella Haines (2nd); Mark of 38-4
Discus– Brayli Grant (4th); Mark of 107-1
BOYS:
Shot Put– Marcus Garner (2nd); Mark of 50-4
High Jump– Lo’Quan Young (3rd); Mark of 6-2
100M Dash– Ja’Meir Gamble (3rd); Mark of 10.93
4x100M Relay– Massillon (1st), team of Deontay Malone, Jacques Carter, Tra’Yon Williams, Ja’Meir Gamble, Daylan Pringle; Mark of 42.61
4x200M Relay– Massillon (1st), team of Deontay Malone, Jacques Carter, Tra’Yon Williams, Ja’Meir Gamble, Daylan Pringle; Mark of 1:28.73
Softball Star Earns All-Northeast Ohio Honor
Massillon softball star Jaryn Wolff earned 1st Team All-Northeast Ohio for DII. Jaryn primarily played shortstop for the Tigers this season.
