The Tiger defense jumped all over Warren, and Andrew Holland sacked their quarterback for a huge loss after a low snap. A bad punt led to great field position for the Tigers, but they were unable to move the ball and turned it over on downs. The Tiger defense once again stood strong; Logan Thornsberry had a tackle-for-loss and put pressure on the quarterback to force a third down incompletion. Massillon moved down the field on a drive that ran into the second quarter and put the ball into the end zone. DeVaughn Williams rushed for the score, and Derrick Gordon darted in for a two-point conversion to give Massillon an 8-0 lead. On Warren’s end, another low snap led to another Andrew Holland sack and an under thrown ball that was intercepted by Aamir Jones. Warren took the opening drive of the third quarter down the field for a touchdown. The Tigers stifled the two-point try and led 16-6. DeVaughn Williams had a big first down run, but the Tigers were unable to move the ball further and turned it over on downs. On a drive that rolled into the fourth quarter, the Raiders drove down the field once again. Aamir Jones made an incredible one-handed pick at the two-yard line (his second interception of the game) to stop Warren. The Tigers had their backs to their own goal line, but that was no problem for Derrick Gordon. He shot through the line and took the ball 98 yards for a Tiger score. Warren was shut down by the Massillon D once again— Logan Thornsberry sacked their quarterback, and Greg McHenry had a tackle-for-loss on fourth down to force a turnover. The Tigers would put one more on the board, as Derrick Gordon scored again, and DeVaughn Williams crossed the line for two more. The time ran out on the clock, and the final score stood: Massillon 30 – Warren G. Harding 6.
