Player Spotlight— Week 6 vs. DeMatha

The Tigers fell short against DeMatha last Friday. The Stags’ huge line and strong run game did enough to beat Massillon. The game was not without a few bright spots, however. A few Tigers had great games; they are this week’s spotlight players.

Mylen Lenix was a force at running back for the Tigers. He only carried the ball 7 times, but he was able to gain 46 yards, averaging 6 1/2 yards a carry. Lenix’s runs were hard downhill runs that smashed through DeMatha’s excellent defensive line, and he pushed ahead for as many extra yards as possible. He also notched 4 tackles on defense. His efforts make him the offensive spotlight player of the week.
