Tiger Alum Named 2nd Team All-OAC
Sophomore Forward and former Massillon star Elijah Farrington was named 2nd team All-OAC for Mount Union today. Farrington started for the Tigers in the ’21-’22 and ’22-’23 seasons. He had a breakout season his senior year, averaging 19.5 points per game and climbing to 16th on Massillon’s all-time scoring list with 723 career points. This season Farrington has had quite a run with the Purple Raiders, who are set to face John Carrol in the OAC Championship game tomorrow. He has averaged 14 points per game and 9.5 rebounds per game– his rpg are second best in the conference– while leading the team in field goal percentage (61.1%). Farrington was named OAC Player of the Week and USBWA National Player of the Week near the end of the regular season. He most recently posted 25 points against Heidelberg in the OAC semifinal.
