Massillon Boys Rout Perry– Chris Knight Reaches Career Milestone
Massillon moved to 9-3 after a 77-47 win over the Perry Panthers (6-8).
Gio Jackson Jr. scored 20 points, Chris Knight had 19, Braylon Gamble scored 13, and Terrence Keyes added 12. The Tigers had seven dunks and dominated the floor defensively– Isaiah Lamp had multiple steals.
Chris Knight’s 19 points put him in the 1,000 point club. He now has the 8th most points in Massillon history.
Delaney Pierce Leads the State for the Lady Tigers
Freshman Delaney Pierce has had a dream season so far for the soaring Lady Tigers. She averages 17.7 points, 10.9 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 4.8 steals per game. Delaney also has recorded 17 double-doubles and 3 triple doubles this season– the 17 double-doubles are the most for any player in the state of Ohio.
Offers Continue to Rain Down on the Tigers
The Tigers continue to gather in offers as colleges ramp up recruiting. Demari Clemons was offered by Kent State, Lennox Lemon was offered by Eastern Michigan and Miami (OH), and Ja’Dyn Williams also received an offer from Eastern Michigan.
