Perry Hires Massillon DC Spencer Leno as New Head Coach
Tiger Defensive Coordinator Spencer Leno was hired by the Perry Panthers as their new head coach, replacing Zach Slates (who the Panthers parted ways with last December).
Coach Leno had been with the Tigers since 2018. He is a graduate of Washington High School and played for the Tigers from 2006-09. He was team MVP and honorable mention All-Ohio in 2009 as well as a team captain. Leno went on to play college ball at Wittenberg University where he was a team captain at linebacker. Prior to his time as a Massillon coach, he was an assistant at Columbus Westland and Urbana.
Wrestling Tigers Pin McKinley and New Philly at Tri Meet
The Tigers took on both McKinley and New Philadelphia yesterday on wrestling senior night— Massillon came out on top in both meets. McKinley fell 45-32 and New Philly was beaten 44-34
